The role of the Holy Spirit is powerful in the life of every believer. The Spirit convicts hearts of truth and empowers Christians to live as witnesses for Christ. A Spirit-empowered life means allowing Him to motivate obedience, direct our steps, guide our words, and counsel us with God’s truth. As we surrender and set our “sails,” the Spirit provides the power and direction for faithful living and effective ministry. Ultimately, the same Spirit who works in us today will one day raise us to new life in the resurrection.
