Application of Prayer

Jan 11, 2026    Craig Smith

Prayer flourishes when it is rooted in dependence rather than self-reliance. Scripture reveals how common obstacles like distraction, selfish motives, and unresolved conflict can weaken our prayer lives. God invites us into prayer marked by confidence, honesty, persistence, and patient trust. As we learn to strive against what hinders prayer and strive for deeper dependence on God, we grow in a healthier, more vibrant relationship with Him.
