1 Peter 2:4-12

Peter describes the Christian life as being built around Jesus, the living Stone and cornerstone of our faith. Our faith rests on Christ, our identity is found in Him, our worship is directed toward Him, our community is formed around Him, and our mission is lived for Him. As God’s chosen people, believers are being built together into something greater than themselves and called to live differently in the world. A Christ-centered life should ultimately become visible to others through our worship, relationships, character, and good works.
