The Prodigal Son

The story of the prodigal son reveals a grace that does not wait for us to earn our way home, but runs to meet us while we are still far away. Both sons misunderstood the father’s heart, one believing he had forfeited his place and the other believing he had earned it through obedience. Jesus shows us that our relationship with God rests not on our performance, but on the Father’s character and Christ’s finished work. Whether we have wandered far away or remained close while growing distant at heart, grace invites us home to forgiveness, restoration, and celebration.
