It Would Take a Miracle

The story of Lazarus reminds us that the point of a miracle is not simply the supernatural event, but the supernatural Person behind it. Jesus enters into our grief and suffering with compassion while revealing Himself as the resurrection and the life. We are invited to pray boldly for God to intervene while trusting Him even when the answer is not what we hoped for. Ultimately, our hope is not in receiving a miracle or even physical healing, but in Jesus Himself and the promise of eternal life with Him.
